Student Travel On Trek Chicago Performance Tour

Chicago is a city of world-class status and unsurpassed beauty, drawing visitors from around the nation and the globe. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in the heart of the Midwest, Chicago is home to world-championship sports teams, an internationally acclaimed symphony orchestra, renowned architecture and the heart of commodity trading.

Students experience the energy of the cosmopolitan center of commerce. You can see Broadway plays touring at Broadway in Chicago, attend the symphony, see dance performances by some of the finest and most intriguing dance companies in the country, explore many and varied art museums, discover the stars at the planetarium, learn about dinosaurs or sciences at one of Chicago’s many museums, explore the past at the Chicago History Museum or spend a relaxing afternoon at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Performing Students work with premier directors and instructors during specially arranged clinics at local universities. As a center for dancing arts, there are many opportunities for clinics that bring young dancers to another level.

Science students conduct in depth studies in hands on learning labs at the Field Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry.

Chicago Student ToursShopping and sight seeing abound. On the Magnificent Mile, the northern part of Michigan Avenue between the Chicago River and Lake Shore Drive, is Chicago's version of the Champs-Elysées: a grand wide boulevard with exclusive shops, museums, restaurants and ritzy hotels. For a unique perspective, groups can take a memorable cruise from the lakefront, through the locks and along the river, featuring exciting views and descriptions of Chicago’s most famous architecture.
