Performing Students work with premier directors and instructors during specially arranged clinics at local universities. As a center for dancing arts, there are many opportunities for clinics that bring young dancers to another level.
Science students conduct in depth studies in hands on learning labs at the Field Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry.
Shopping and sight seeing abound. On the Magnificent Mile, the northern part of Michigan Avenue between the Chicago River and Lake Shore Drive, is Chicago's version of the Champs-Elysées: a grand wide boulevard with exclusive shops, museums, restaurants and ritzy hotels. For a unique perspective, groups can take a memorable cruise from the lakefront, through the locks and along the river, featuring exciting views and descriptions of Chicago’s most famous architecture.
