When we travel, all of the lessons we’ve learned in school and in our prior life are tested. We apply our learning in a new environment. We experience a mini excursion that reflects our larger world and our larger life. Students step to the threshold of their future and glimpse the possibilities waiting to materialize.
On Trek strives to enrich your student travel by designing field trips with your special needs in mind. Whether taking your music students to venues that complement your curriculum, arranging special performances for your band, orchestra or choir, engaging your science students in the activity of discovery, or exploring the locations of our history, On Trek’s goal is to bring you and your students to that special place where magic can happen, eyes are widened and the young person engages in the process of being human.
We help you bring your students to a new understanding of their class by incorporating the learning themes below in their experience. |

"I prepared excitedly for my departure, as if this journey had a mysterious significance. I had decided to change my mode of life. Til now, I told myself, "you have only seen the shadow and been well content with it; now, I am going to lead you into the substance."
~ Nikos Kazantzakis, Zorba the Greek
